YOU'RE INSECURE!!!! | Prosperity TREE Ministries

Insecurity rears its ugly head in two distinct ways. One being, within spiritually and the other being in our reactions in relationship with others. Have you ever not obeyed God, or even still, dwelled on how to do something and did it the way you thought it should go versus the way God told you to do it? That's insecurity.

In this article, you can expect to learn how to identify and combat spiritual insecurity and watch out for reactionary insecurity as well.

Reactionary insecurity is what I like to define as when you're insecure by being triggered by sin or "perceived sin" and it causes you to react in a hurtful way towards others. If you're not careful your religious views can block your spiritual understanding that only God can give. In such a way that it actually causes you to sin again your brethren. For example, have you ever seen a Christian doing something and immediately judged them?

Yeah, it's okay we all struggle with that from time to time.

But, the teaching here is that there's something God wants us to do instead of judging (or secretly condemning ) one another. The next time you see your fellow Christian, or anyone, doing something that strikes you as odd, take a minute and seek the Lord.

Ask the Holy Spirit to reveal to you whether or not that person is a "light worker" or not. What God wants us to remember is this, we do not have to fear anything. The root of insecurity is fear and us not having absolute confidence in the Lord's abilities.

The Holy Spirit will reveal to you what something is and what it is not. I tried this recently with all of the chatter about the celebrity Satan ambassadors. I stopped and asked the Lord who was his child and who wasn't and I was immediately comforted by the Holy Spirit's response.

The Lord wanted me to share this because sometimes we forget to look to see things spiritually. Sometimes when we see things with our eyes, we render judgement based on our carnal judgement instead of using any spiritual discernment.

God is charging us to strengthen our faith in these moments.

Judgement and condemnation is running rampant in the body of Christ today. Everyone is ready to slay each other's demons. So much so, that we're forgetting to follow Jesus's signature commandment. Jesus commanded us to love one another as he loved us.

So what does this mean? It means, that be so secure in your faith in God that even if the Holy Spirit does reveal to you that the person you're seeing sin is doing something disturbing, and is a "darkness worker" as Christians, the war is already won. We have the victory, and it's our job as Christians to love others. Why? Because the power of love is greater than anything else we could possibly do, and it's the only thing that can effectively combat evil.

Love in this setting may look like us simply believing that God is still God all by himself, and that we don't have to take to social media to sow discord. Or just trusting that we, nor the world, is in any imminent danger of immediate destruction. By trusting God expect there to be rest in the knowing that we know, and the insecurity that we feel about the woes of the world, or others' sinful nature -- is God's [ alone ] to combat.

Please take the time to watch this 20 Minute Message entitled "YOU'RE INSECURE" sharing spiritual insight from ( Phillipians 3:5 ) circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; in regard to the law, a Pharisee;

In this passage Paul teaches us how he has the pedigree as a Hebrew of Hebrews and he still doesn't rely on that or the law solely to serve God. He teaches us not put our confidence in our religious customs, or our flesh. He teaches us that the Lord is expecting us to serve him in faith in Him just like his son Jesus showed us.

If you're battling spiritual insecurity note this; if Satan can stop you he can stop the move of God. If he can convince you that you're not enough, you don't have enough, or you can't possibly do what God is calling you to do then he can hinder your prosperity on behalf of your Kingdom mission.

It's spiritual and if you wish to break free of this cycle of having zeal without any fruitfulness, do this. Use your faith, especially when you feel overwhelmed. Take action while putting your confidence in the Lord's abilities...not yours.

Remember what Paul says and don't rely on your heritage, your family lineage, your background, your work success, or even your religious customs. In order to do this walk confidently your confidence has to come from your faith.

Amen and Shalom, India Miles
